This morning we are going to be focus on literacy.
Instructions :

- Click the film trailer tab.
- Watch the trailer for Pixar’s Brave
Discuss the following questions with an adult or sibling.
- Why do you think they hide Merida’s face until the end ?
- Sometimes movie trailers use a strategy called foreshadowing where they give hints about what is going to happen . Did you spot any characters or scenes that will turn out to be important ?
Task
Your challenge this morning is to write a new narrative for the trailer. It must be the same length as the video and describe what is happening without giving away the whole story.
When you are finished you can perform your new trailer to an adult at home. Make sure the play the video without the sound!

If that doesn’t work, if you go onto “Literacy Shed” and within the programme search “Brave”, an option will come up for “Brave – Pixar trailer”.
