Primary 5a had a busy start to the week with assembly followed by hockey in PE.  Our photos show  our cooperative spelling activities where we had to work together to make words using letters cut from newspapers and also some excellent and very accurate addition work by James!

Homework                                                                                                                     Reading – everyone should be reading their ERIC book for 15/20 minutes each day.                                                                                                  Numeracy – a worksheet has been given out to be completed at home.                                                                                                                           Spelling  – pupils should write each word twice more in their jotters, write two (quality!) sentences and put their words into alphabetical order.  Please remind your child to “Look, Say, Cover, Write and Check” to help them to remember each word rather than just copying them.
