Numeracy and Mathematics provides essential analytic, problem solving and decision making skills across the curriculum. Teaching and learning is planned to develop children’s financial capability, thereby enhancing life chances and helping them become responsible citizens and effective contributors to society. Brediland Primary has adopted a whole school approach to develop Numeracy in a real, relevant, fun and motivating way for pupils by means various methodologies and a wide variety of resources. Staff have responsibility to develop, reinforce and extend learning in Numeracy across all other areas of the curriculum and in real life situations
