#STEMRen
We are delighted to announce that our Primary 7 Young STEM Leaders have organised a competition as part of National STEM Day.
National STEM Day is an opportunity to celebrate Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. It can also help promote skills for learning, life and work.
We are proud to promote sustainability, especially during COP 26, so this will play a role in the competition.
Please follow the link to see our leaders introduce the competition but below is the information.
Challenge: | Create a car which is sustainable using every day household items. Can you use a renewable source? |
Time: | Monday 8th November – Tue 30th November |
Who: | Complete this task with your family. Get everyone involved to help you win house points. Will it be the Eagles, Falcons, Hawks or Ospreys? |
Why: | The task will help develop Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths skills. It is great to work with our families. It is great to win points and prizes for our houses. |
How to enter: | Create your own model car using a renewable source and then post a picture/video on your class team or ask an adult to tweet the school. We look forward to seeing your brilliant work.@BishoptonPS |
