Just a reminder that we start our Sponsored Readathon tomorrow, February 19th.  Please encourage your child to read as many books as possible and help us raise as much money as we can to buy non -fiction books and resources for all classes.  All of the books read can be added to their First Minister’s Reading Challenge Passport.  If your child has completed theirs or needs a new one, we have plenty extra in school – let their teacher know.

The Readathon culminates in World Book Day on March 1st.  Children can bring in their sponsor money in an envelope with their name and class clearly stated.    All children are asked to dress as their favourite book character or to wear pyjamas/onesies on the day.  There are lots of costume ideas on the World Book Day website!  Please remember that the Readathon can be completed as a family.
