Hope you all had a great weekend.  I can’t quite believe there are only 4 weeks left of Primary 1 but homework will still be set!!

Reading – please discuss the new books with your child.

Maths – choose either the symmetry or weight activity.

Wordwalls – continue to focus on dotted words.  Ask your child to hunt for words on their wordwall in their reading books.

Read and munch is on Thursday.

PE on Thursday and Friday – outdoors, weather permitting!

I have taken some of the sound cards out of your child’s book bag and will continue to do so over the next couple of weeks.  Children can continue to blend using their blending booklets or trying to write some words down.

Please could you take old letters out of your child’s bookbag each week as it can get tricky for the children to find what they are looking for in their bag.
