Last week we began a dance topic based around mysteries and magic! We learned about some myths and legends within Europe for our topic and applied this theme to our dancing! We started by thinking about some words that relate to magic and spelling these words using shapes with our bodies. We also practised some mirroring using shapes that indicated we were doing something magical, such as casting a spell or riding a broom! The classroom became Hogwarts temporarily! Next, we imagined creating secret passageways and used our bodies to both create the passageways and to go through them using different movements! There were lots of great ideas and imagination!
