This weeks news and homework as follows:
P2 Homework
New spelling sound – magic e – a_e as in grape, make, shape
Reading books. This week pupils will bring home a Big Cat reading book to read. This may be fiction or non fiction depending on their choice. Please read a little each night.
Maths homework will be looking at fractions
On Thursday the children watched a short video called “The crayon box that talked” This was in our bounce back lessons. We were learning about how important it is to all get along, support each other in class and work together. Each pupil was given a crayon picture and a person from the class. Their homework for this Thursday is to to write something special about that person on the crayon. We will be making a display of all these wonderful compliments in class.

Other news
Thank you for all of the shoe boxes. On Tuesday we will be continuing with our Egyptian topic. We will be looking at mummification. The children will be working together to make a sarcophagus out of these shoe boxes. Pictures to follow. We have a trip booked for the end of this term. Information to follow.
