Here are your activities for the week ahead. If you have any problems, please let me know straight away.

Please note the change in PE day for the next few weeks.

Language

• Spelling – Complete Unit/List 8 in your Spelling Homework jotters for Friday 20th January.
• Personal Reading Challenge – Throughout the year, please read extra texts on top of the class novels. Record what you have read and complete the tasks on the Personal Reading Challenge sheet.

• Reading

  Purple – Black Death
  Yellow – Waiting for Anya/ The card turner
  Orange – The giraffe and the pelly and me/ Artemis Fowl
  Blue – The ultimate trainers 
  Green – The hunger games/Down the rabbit hole
  All new books should be completed for Friday 27/1/17.

• You will be retaking the P7 Spelling Test next Wednesday 18th January, to see if your spelling skills have improved since August. There are 50 words which consist of spelling rules and patterns you have learned and use since Primary 1 (see the post from last week for examples).

Answer the following Algebra questions in your homework jotter. This is due for Friday 20/1/17.

• Thank you for confirming your Burns Poem. You will recite your poems to our class and one other on the Monday 23^rd January.
• PE will be on MONDAY and THURSDAY for the next few weeks as we practice our Scottish Dancing with Primary 7M.
