Hello everyone, hope you had a lovely week off and are ready to start working hard for Term 2.  Here is your homework for this week – please remember to practise your 2,3,4,5 and 10 times tables for mental maths on Friday.

Reading

Twirls – P16-32 for Tuesday and Thursday. (Reading will be heard in class on these days)

Crunchies – P11-20 for Wednesday and Friday. (Reading will be heard in class on these days)

Buttons – P6-10 Tuesday,  P10-16  for Wednesday and P17-23 for Friday. (Reading will be heard in class on these days)

Spelling 

Blue group ‘tion’

infection, mention, direction, invention, collection, dictionary, bear and can’t.

Red group ‘tion’

nation, lotion, station, fiction, option, position, water and away.

Green group ‘ou’

touch, young, cousin, double, tough, enough, look and don’t.

Remember to rewrite the words using Look, Say, Cover, Write and Check. Choose 3 words to write a sentence for. Try to include ambitious vocabulary and connectives in these. Then choose a Spell Well activity to help consolidate your words.
