Reading

Twirls – P11-21 for Tuesday and P22 – End for Thursday.

(Reading will be heard in class on these days)

Crunchies – P15 – 19 for Wednesday and P20 – End for Friday. (Reading will be heard in class on these days)

Buttons – P13 – 17 for Tuesday, P18 – 22 for Wednesday and P23 – 27 for Friday. (Reading will be heard in class on these days)

Spelling 

Blue group –‘ea’

bear, tearing, pear, wearing, swear, underwear, now and people.

Red group – ‘ea’

tear, bear, pear, wear, swear, underwear, were and when.

Green group – ‘ai’

air, hair, pair, stair, chair, fairy, said and of.

Remember to rewrite the words using Look, Say, Cover, Write and Check. Choose 3 words to write a sentence for. Try to include ambitious vocabulary and connectives in these. Then choose a Spell Well activity to help consolidate your words.

Maths – Primary 4 will be focusing on time this week, revising o’clock and half past. We will also be looking at quarter to and past the hour and learning about both analogue and digital time. I will include some links below of games which focus on these aspects. Please remember to keep practising your times tables and number bonds.
