Pupil Bulletin 26th August

Let’s all celebrate.  We’re back – as if you hadn’t realised by now and it’s time for the first pupil bulletin.  Take time out and have a look below.  Mrs Hollywood outlines the values of the school that the majority of people (pupils, parents and staff voted for).  These are the values that are going to govern everything we do.

Also check out the new head girls and boys.  These jobs are important so lets make sure we all support them as they represent the school and all those who work within it.  So well done those folks.

Summer Newsletter 2016

It’s the final newsletter of 2016. The last year has seen many changes and there have been innumerable LaurenAndersonsuccesses. Not least, pupils from Johnstone High being chosen to have their work exhibited in the Paisley Museum and Art Exhibition.  Special congratulations go to Lauren Anderson in S3 who came first in the Paisley Art Institute competition. And these are not the only successes. Just missing  the deadline for the newsletter, Megan Cook S4, Beth McColl S5 and Lisa Thomson S6 reached the finals in Future Textile’s Dress in a Day Challenge at Dumfries House.  The competition was judged by the Great British Sewing Bee judge Patrick Grant, with prizes given by Duke & Duchess of Rothesay. Mrs Carlin, our teacher, excelled herself and led the way by winning the Teacher Challenge. So pats on the back all round, then!

Read about our other successes in our newsletter.
