Welcome to Ruthvenfield Primary School
Ruthvenfield Primary School is a small, non-denominational rural school situated in the hamlet of Ruthvenfield two miles west of Perth. The school has grown over the last twenty years from a one teacher school to an establishment which now houses 55 pupils and several staff in 3 classes. There is a nearby industrial estate and housing at Huntingtower.
The A85 Crieff Road accesses the village in both directions. The area can also be reached from the A9 through the Inveralmond Industrial Estate. This road culminates in a small humpback bridge (with a 3T weight restriction) over the Lade.
Ruthvenfield Primary School is a vibrant and caring community where our “Dream Big” vision aims to inspire every child to aim high, believe in themselves, and achieve their full potential.
We value achievement in all its forms and foster a positive ethos towards learning, work and relationships. Through high quality learning and teaching, we support our pupils to become successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors.
We believe that strong partnerships between home and school are key to every child’s success. Our aim is to provide a happy, safe, trusting and welcoming environment where learning is enjoyable, inclusive and meaningful.
Within this setting, we strive to ensure that opportunities exist for every child to develop skills for learning, life, and work, while celebrating their individuality and encouraging ambition. At Ruthvenfield, we dream big – because we believe every child can make a difference.
