I Want To Be Patient

I want the patience of a little girl waiting all year for Halloween.

I want the patience of my family sleeping in on my birthday.

I want the patience of the starving lions going to go hunt their pray.

I want the patience of the bright flower slowly starting to bloom.

I want the patience of a rusty broken car going to get fixed.

I want the patience of an old oak tree slowly starting to get older and ancient.

I want the patience of the majestic bird to go fly out over the lake.

I want the patience of my baby cousins to come home.

I want the patience of a sublime sunflower that took weeks to grow.

I want the patience of the ravishing sunset.
