Melodic Minor Scale

A minor scale with different notes when ascending/descending.

“Possibly Maybe” uses two weird scales: Lydian mode, in the verses, and melodic minor scale, in the chorus and outro.

This Bach piece uses the G minor melodic scale in sections.   It also modulates a bit into the major. Your music teacher can hopefully 😉 point out the harmonic changes of which there are a quite a few!!!!!!  Note the use of the mordent too.
