Commonwealth Event

On Friday 2nd May the school children were treated to Commonwealth day. Each class participated in various sporting activities including, Ryder Cup target golf, Cycling, Mini Gym, Inflatable bungee and an obstical course. The children and staff also performed various cultural songs and dances from around the Commonwealth to their parents and guests. We were also treated to a barbecue lunch served by Tayside Contracts. Councillor Allan Grant opened the Commonwealth event and Dot Brighouse officially opened the Commonwealth Playground.  The day was enjoyed by pupils and staff and we are looking forward to learning more about the Commonwealth and the Games over the coming weeks.

Football Festival

On Monday 23 September ten children from Primary 6 and Primary 7 joined with children from other local schools to take part in a football festival. We played three games. We drew with Rattray B, lost to Rattray A and won against Burrelton B.
The children were a credit to the school and their parents, showing good sportsmanship skills throughout.
Kristofer Mason was selected to attend the next round of events.
