Easter Activities
P1/2/3 made marvellous Easter bonnets and brought them into class!
They also learned the Easter story, decorated eggs and went on an egg hunt in the park to practise their addition skills.
Numeracy
Here boys and girls are a number of game sites for you to practise multiplication and money.
Forest Schools
P1/2/3 went off to the forest today and did a number of Numeracy activities with their partners.
This included number work, counting and adding activities, making symmetry pictures, problem solving and measuring.
Subtraction
Here are a few subtraction games to help you improve your mental subtraction skills.
Baking Christmas Biscuits
The children learned different skills when making Christmas biscuits.
They learned and followed hygiene rules throughout baking.
They followed the recipe, took turns, measured with scales, beat ingredients together, roll out the mixture and use cutters too.
Finally in the afternoon, they got to taste them too!
Addition
p1/2/3
P1/2/3 have been learning about telling the time.
P1 went searching for clocks all around us and took photographs of clocks around us. They also made their own clocks. P2/3 have been learning time on little analogue clocks and have been playing games on the smartboard and on the computer.Â
