First we had to collect very small dry sticks in the park, then we used these to make a small fire in the bottom of the kellie kettles. This boiled the water, which was used then for the hot chocolate.

We have three bags to observe and measure over the next couple of months. We are entering a competition to see who can grow the heaviest amount of potatoes too. Gro

P2/3 remembered about bullet points and bossy verbs. We took turns at measuring and stirring the mixture. I think we would recommend these for everyone to try.

We then used leaves and other signs of autumn to make a picture of a flower. When making the flower we had to find similar shades of leaves and put these together. We made frames from sticks too. We were very creative and worked together too. Hopefully you will agree what wonderful pictures the children made!
