French Class Talks
This week P1/2/3 presented their talks on their French homework.

Den Building
This week we were up in the forest and were building dens.
We all had to work together in our groups to build a solid den in which one or more people could fit into.
One group was very creative and made a garden path and a fire exit with their den.
Thank you very much to Mrs Howie and Mrs Black who came along and helped us build our dens!

Forest Schools
Today we stayed in the ark and made hot chocolate with kellie kettles.
First we had to collect very small dry sticks in the park, then we used these to make a small fire in the bottom of the kellie kettles.
This boiled the water, which was used then for the hot chocolate.
Earthing Up Potatoes
We had to earth up our potatoes. We do this to protect them from frost.
They had grown over 20cm since the last time we measured them!
Mosaic Making
P1/2/3 all participated in making the Braco 200 mosaic.
Dog Warden Visit
Kirsteen MacKenzie (The Dog Warden) visited us this week to teach us about being safe around dogs.
She played a quiz and P1/2/3 passed with glowing colours.

Frankie and Benny Visit
P1/2/3 had the pleasure of visiting Frankie and Benny’s yesterday.
There, we made our own pizza with different toppings.
We had a super time and would like to thank Martha and her team at Frankie and Benny’s and Mr Davies who also came along to help us.
