Science
We have been learning about forces in class.
We tested how far different cars could travel and what affected the distance they could travel such as different surfaces and weight.
In the park we explored what you had to do make the equipment move – either push or pull or both.
Our Wedding!
As part of our RME project, the children have been learning what churches are used for.
On the day before the Royal Wedding, we had our own little wedding in class and reception/party for the Big Day!
Our Pirate topic
Here are some photographs showing some of the activities and learning we have done in relation to our Pirate topic.
This has included making our Pirate ship, reading pirate stories, Drama – Life on a Pirate Ship and Island and Soft Play activities including role play in the ship.
Visit to the Church
Last week P2/3 visited the Church where Reverend Perkins kindly showed us around and explained different items in the church and what they were used for. We even got to go upstairs!
P1/2 have been learning about parts of the Church and what it is used for in RME.

Forest Activities
Here are some of the activities we have been doing in the forest this term. This has included using saws and peelers and learning how to keep safe with these.
The children have also been learning 2D and 3D shape, grouping and sharing.
