Making a Difference

The whole school were set a challenge by Mr Torrens to make a difference to our community.

P1/2/3 decided to focus on litter so on Friday 4/6/21 they went out on a litter pick up around the village.  first they concentrated on the school playground, then the park and finally the Lodge Park and the paths to and from it.

Well done P1/2/3.

A big thank you to Hazel for helping us on the walk and Liz Paterson  from Braco who supplied us with the litter picker tongs and bags.

Bike Week

Ali from Sustrans joined us and provided some super activities for all of the children to enjoy. These included improving obstacle courses to improve the children’s bike skills and Nature Walks.

Thank You Ali for this and for providing bicycles so all the children could take part.

Sports Day

This year our Sports Day was a little different but at least we were able to have one.

We had to stay in our own classes to complete the potted sports.

We then took turns at class races. These included the flat race, long distance race, tatie and spoon race and the obstacle race.

To finish it off, we all enjoyed a BBQ.

Well done everyone for taking part and congratulations to all our winners too!
