North Ronaldsay has been recognized as a Dark Sky Island and an International Dark Sky Community by the International Dark-Sky Association (IDA).
It was exciting being part of the panel and group hearing the live announcement (as part of Orkney International Science Festival) at the community centre on Friday 3rd of September.
