North Lanarkshire Council Supported Enterprise is made up of 2 services, Supported Employment & North Lanarkshire Industries.
Supported Employment was established in 1999 and provides a service to people within North Lanarshire area facing barriers and require support to gain employment, and sustain in employment.
The service works with individuals to help them identify their skills and abilities, matching them to the right job and offering on the job support.
NL Industries is a fully established force in furnishing production, assembly, refurbishment and maintenance. Based within Netherton Industrial Estate, Wishaw, NL Industries is a leading example of both commercial success and social responsibility.
We make a positive contribution across communities by employing people with barriers who are fully trained to a high standard in all aspects of soft furnishing and re-upholstery production. We are a leading example of a supported business that partners commercial success with social Values.
