Pupil Participation
Pupil participation is essential in ensuring that children feel heard, valued, and connected to the events that matter most to them. When learners are actively involved in shaping school activities, celebrations, and decision‑making, they develop a stronger sense of ownership and engagement. This participation nurtures confidence, encourages responsibility, and builds a community where children recognise that their opinions can influence real change. By involving pupils in meaningful events, we strengthen their voice and ensure our school reflects what is important to the young people within it.
Pupil Committees in Our School
All pupils in our school belong to a pupil committee, giving every child the opportunity to contribute to an area they care about and to work collaboratively with peers across stages. These committees allow children to develop leadership, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills while helping to shape the life of the school.
Our committees include: Emotion Work Wonders, Health Heroes, Numeracy Ninjas, Reading Rascals, Media Mob, Play Pals, STEM Squad, Global Citizens, J.R.S.O, Eco/Litter Bugs, Community Crew, Fairtrade Fellows, Pupil Action Group, and SPIRIT.
Together, these groups ensure that every pupil has a meaningful role in helping the school grow, improve, and celebrate what matters to our community.
