Today we say goodbye to one of our fantastic teachers. We would like to wish Mr Kiernan all the best in his new role at Lamlash Nursery School.

A massive well done to this week’s Star Pupils.

Next Friday (16th) is Children In Need. Woodlands Primary School will be running an activity day. Children are asked to bring a £1 donation, wear something spotty, yellow or linked to Children In Need; make sure children bring an outdoor jacket and shoes.

Primary 6 are running a Christmas advent raffle.  Tickets cost 50p and you can win this wonderful chocolate advent calendar.  Tickets will be on sale from Monday! 🍫🍬

A massive congratulations to our fabulous star pupils. Working hard and displaying a kind and caring attitude this week.

 We have many Sumdog champions this week. With increased accuracy when answering their mental maths questions.

I have had a few parents hand in tokens from The Sun newspaper. We have registered to take part in the scheme so if you have any tokens lying about please bring them in.

I will put a collection box at the office that children can drop the tokens at.

The tokens are in the newspaper until the 18th of November.

Due to some changes to gym hall timetable tomorrow, Primary 6/7 are going to be doing outdoor PE tomorrow.

If possible, could all Primary 6/7 children bring

• full PE kit – tracksuit bottoms might be better than shorts if you have them
• change of shoes
• warm jumper/hoody.
