Calling all Parents/Carers/Guardians!!

The Woodlands Parent Council is recruiting new members

The Parent Council AGM will take place on Wednesday 25^th  September at 3pm

In line with the constitution a Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer are elected every two years, the current committee are standing down and representatives will be elected at this meeting.

 If you are interested in supporting your school to create a community where everyone can flourish please come along and find out all about the role of the Parent Council and how you can get involved.

Maths champions smashed their previous records showing great accuracy and speed. Great job!

Well done to our fantastic primary 1 girl for earning a dance trophy this week. One of our primary 4 girls shared some success at home with her little dog Stanley passing his dog obedience class!

Our Kilbowie meeting will take  place on Thursday the 19^th of September before the Meet the Teacher event from 5.00pm until 5.30pm. It’s a great way to find out more information about the week away & advice on what to pack.

We would love to see you all there!

Our meet the teacher night will take place on Thursday the 19^th of September with a session from 3.15pm until 3.45pm and another from 5.30pm until 6.00pm. This will give you the opportunity to visit your child’s class, meet their teacher and try out some of the resources that your child uses every day in school. We would encourage you to come along with your child and hear about some of the great things they will be trying out this year.

Sumdog champions this week showing great accuracy.

Some pupils sharing their fantastic achievements. Raising over £400 pounds for charity and an award for fantastic dancing.

The Cumbernauld news are coming in  tomorrow (Tuesday 10th September) to take the P1’s photograph.

During September we are focusing on children’s health through assemblies. As part of this work we are taking part in Aldi’s kit for schools. We would be great full if any parents, friend or family who shop at Aldi could collect these stickers and send them into school.
