Sports Day

Our annual Sports Day is tomorrow. This will take place from 9:10 – 2.55 with a break for lunch from 12:00 -1:00. Children will take part during the day and will have the opportunity to collect points for their houses.

We are planning on the event being outside and ask that children are dressed appropriately with a full gym kit and bring a filled water bottle. If it is cold children are able to bring a pair of jogging trousers.

Equipment will be set out prior to the school day – please ensure that this equipment is not moved or played with by younger children as it will delay the start of sports day.

As always all parents and carers are welcome to pop down to watch and enjoy the day. The Parent Council will also be present with a refreshment stall.

There will be timetables placed on all outside class doors showing the location of each class throughout the day.

Our first ever bee swarm!

Some of you might have heard but on Tuesday our bees swarmed!

Fortunately Mr McMullan and a few primary 7s were on hand to hunt them down and catch them.

They need to get up a bit earlier in in the morning if they want to escape!

For more information about why they swarmed head over to the beekeeping blog.
