We are having a Christmas Cinema event on Thursday 5th December. It will run at the end of the school day therefore children who are attending do not need to be collected at 3pm as their teacher will escort them to their chosen film.

Children selected their favourite Christmas movies during assembly through our pupil voice campfires and The Pupil Action Group recorded their suggestions.

The final 5 movies are:

Where a film is rated PG by selecting this option you are giving permission for your child to view. This event will be fully supervised by school staff.

The cost to attend is £2 and this includes a drink, popcorn and a hotdog. Could all slips be returned by Wednesday 4th December.

Children attending must be collected by an adult from their class door at approximately 4.50pm / 5.00pm.

All served with a selection of seasonal vegetables and potatoes

A slip has been sent home with your child.

All order slips must be returned to school no later than Monday 2nd December.

Please ensure sufficient funds are available on your child’s card on 11th December.

All children in receipt of a free school meal including those in p1-3 must return the order form. (Any child who fails to return their order form will only be served once the other orders have been filled and as such may not get the meal of their choice.)

This week’s Sumdog maths champions have displayed great accuracy ➕➖✖️➗ Great job!

We celebrated lots of success this week.

This boy scored a hat trick as his football team won 6-2.

This girl was a lucky mascot during the Scotland game. Watching Scotland win 3 – 1.

This amazing primary 1 brought in her trophy for dancing.

We will be celebrating St. Andrews Day on Friday 29th of November. Catering staff have arranged a Scottish themed lunch for that day. Scotland will be celebrated in class and children are invited to wear tartan.

Our nativity “Lights, Camel Action 2 The Sequin!” will be held on Friday, 13th December 2019. Tickets will be available to purchase from Monday, 25th November 2019. There will be a morning performance at 9:30am and an afternoon performance at 1:30pm.

A letter will be sent home this week with an attached returns slip.

Tickets will initially be limited to two per family. Thereafter any remaining tickets will be sold from Monday, 9th December on a first come first served basis.

Primary 6 have organised a Christmas Advent raffle.   Tickets will be on sale from Wednesday and will cost 50p; you can win this wonderful chocolate advent calendar.   Yum!
