White – Lentil Soup.

Red –  Fish, Chips and Peas.

Green – Scotch Pie, Chips and Peas.

Yellow – Baked Potato.

Blue – Sandwich (Cheese/Chicken)

A reminder that this year the children will be visiting Blair Drummond Safari Park. Busses will leave the school at 9.15am sharp, the trip is free of charge to all children.

Monday 17^th of June – all children in primaries 1-3

Tuesday 18^th June – all children in primaries 4-7

Consent forms were issued on Monday (10th June) and need to be returned by Friday (14th June).

On the trip children should come wearing school polo shirt and sweatshirt and should bring a packed lunch. For any children who receive a free school meal, a snack to go must be ordered in advance by completing the tear off slip on the consent form.

Summer Celebration

This year our end of year show will take a new more relaxed format. Throughout the afternoon all classes from nursery to primary 7 will come along to perform a song they have learned, parents and carers are invited to come join us for coffee and to watch their child’s performance. While no tickets are required we would remind parents that space in the hall is limited and that the guidance is 2 adults per child. The timings for performances are:

Primary 7      1.20pm

Primary 6      1.30pm

Primary 5      1.40pm

Primary 4      1.50pjm

Primary 3      2.00pm

Primary 2      2.10pm

Primary 1      2.20pm

Nursery         2.30pm

Unfortunately our school office will be unstaffed today from 9:45am – 1:00pm. Please be patient and only phone during this time if it is urgent. We will endeavour to answer phones, requests and queries.

The Nursery Sports Day will go ahead as planned at 9:30am.

We are monitoring the weather for our School Sports Day tomorrow afternoon. More information will be sent out in the morning regarding the School Sports Day. Although rain is forecast we will carry out a risk assessment in the morning and decide upon one of four options.

Option 1 – Sports Day as normal in the back playground.

Option 2 – Sports Day in the back and middle playgrounds.

Option 3 – Sports Day moved indoors (hall and open area. This would mean no parents in attendance due to space restrictions).

Option 4 – Sports Day cancelled – a new date identified later in May/June.

We would ask that all children come prepared for sports day and bring a waterproof jacket and a water bottle.
