Great job from our fantastic star pupils. Keep up amazing work you are doing.
This week’s maths champions for increased accuracy and number of questions answered.
A very special award and prize for primary 3 for finishing in 13th place in the North Lanarkshire Sumdog contest. Great effort and awesome answers!
Well done to these two sisters – displaying an enterprising attitude by making slime and selling it for Children in Need.
This girl received a medal at her dancing award show. We were all very impressed.
This is girl created a poster explaining what Children in Need is and how it looks in our school. Thank you for sharing it with the whole school.
Finally our Fairtrade T-shirt winners were announced. Great creativity and designs highlighting the messages of fairness and equality.

Christmas outfit stall – want a free party outfit for your child??
Fed up spending a fortune on outfits that only get worn once? Got a wardrobe full of dresses your kids have outgrown? The parent council are holding a Christmas jumper/Christmas outfit exchange event. During the week of the 18th November you can drop off all those christmas jumpers/party outfits/party shoes that your children have grown out of. We will organise and sort and during the week of the 25th November you can come back and choose something different for your children!
Not got anything to exchange? No problem – a £1 voluntary donation (per family) will mean you can still come and pick up items for your children.
Good for the environment, good for the schools eco approach, good for the community and good for everyone pockets!
Drop off points will be just inside the main entrance and will be open from 8.45 to 9.15 each morning and 2.45 to 3.15 pm each afternoon during the week of the 18th November.
Come back and browse from 8.45am to 9.30am and 2.45pm to 3.30pm the week of the 25th November.
(we would ask that all items dropped off are clean and in good condition)

Well done to our amazing star pupils. Fantastic manners and work this week in class.
Some amazing maths work form our Sumdog champions. Great accuracy and engagement at home.
Primary 6 are worthy Cool Class Cup winners, great singing at assembly and good work ethic in class.
At assembly today primary 6/7 performed the poem In Flanders Field and also asked for help from the other pupils to create a name for Mrs McMillan’s room.
Mr McMullan explained to the children about helping others and the role charity can have in making other people’s lives easier – explaining why he is growing a mustache for Movember and why is is sponsoring his class for MOVEmber.
