Friday 3rd April 2020

All free school meal eligible families should have received their vouchers this week. If not please email FMA@northlan.gov.uk to check that your contact details are correct. You can also use this email address to request that your vouchers be sent by text.

From next week onwards the vouchers will be issued as one £20 voucher.

To use your voucher present it at a shop that uses Pay Point. Asda will also accept the vouchers if you take them the customer service desk.

We would like thank everyone for their patience, effort and understanding during this disruption to our usual daily and weekly routines.

We wish all of our families and friends a safe and restful Easter break and spring holiday.

Well done to our ECO friendly and responsible pupils.

During a walk they decided to take some bags and helped tidy up the environment and community around Cumbernauld. We are very proud.

Additional Links for Learning

Below are some more links that can be used to supplement or replace some of the daily work children are doing.

Please remember this is new to all of us, children, parents and teachers. Play, conversation and spending time with children is just as important as formal learning. We know that learning happens in different ways and in different situations and we don’t want families and individuals to feel anxious at having to complete every piece of work. At Woodlands our primary goal is that everyone stays safe and to have happy, healthy children and families return to school after this unprecedented period is over.

Glasgow Science Centre at HomeLink

Edinburgh Zoo Live animal cam -Link

Here is a link to Fischy Music YouTube channel. We sing some of the songs at assembly and the Fischy Music crew are hosting an assembly every Monday at 11am.

Out of the ArcLink

We play many of the Out of the Arc songs during assemblies, have a listen and see if you can find some new songs or your favourite assembly crowd pleaser!
