Parent Consultations

As I am sure you will understand, due to COVID-19 we cannot conduct face to face meetings with parents and have been working to find an alternative approach. This year, parents consultations will be conducted by telephone throughout the week beginning Monday 26th of October.

You will receive a text informing you which day you will receive your call, all calls will be between the hours of 3.30pm and 4.30pm. The call will appear as no caller ID on your phone. This will give you an opportunity to chat directly to your child’s teacher who will be able to update you on how they have settled back into school and for you to ask any questions you may have.

School News

As you know, we normally issue a school newsletter each term to keep you informed in advance of any special events in school. This year things are very different and although we have many plans for the school year these need to be flexible as we adapt to changing guidance surrounding COVID-19.

We do not want to issue a newsletter and then have to change dates frequently therefore we will issue news via the app and blog. We will try do do this in a timely manner and appreciate your patience.

Maths Week Scotland Sumdog Contest

How it works
To take part, students simply play Sumdog’s maths games.
Scores are based on accuracy, and questions tailored to each student’s level – so everyone has a fair chance.

Each contest runs from 8am local time Friday to 8pm the following Thursday – but you can play at any time during this period there will be rewards for students.

As a reward for taking part, each student who answers 100 questions will receive an item for their Sumdog House.

The contest will run from 25th September until the 1st October.

Good Luck!
