Christmas Parties                                          

The children will enjoy a party with their peers on:

Monday 16^th of December                              – All P6 and P7 children

Tuesday 17^th of December                             – All P3, P4 and P5 children

Wednesday 18^th of December                        – All Nursery, P1 and P2 children

The children can come to school wearing their party gear and bring a snack to share with their

friends such as a bottle of juice, crisps, funsizes or shop bought small cakes.

Monday 9^th

White band        Lentil Soup

Red band            Beef Bolognaise

Green band       Pasta Arabiatta

Yellow Band       Baked potato (Cheese or Beans)

Blue Band           Sandwich (Ham or Cheese)

Tuesday 10^th

White band        Lentil Soup

Red band            Pizza and Salad

Green band       Cheese Toastie and Salad

Yellow Band       Baked potato (Cheese or Tuna)

Blue Band           Sandwich (Chicken or Cheese)

To spread some Christmas cheer from Monday 2^nd December boys and girls can wear their Christmas Jumpers every day in December if they would like to. Children should still wear their school trousers and skirts with their Christmas jumper.

Christmas Lunch will be served in school on Wednesday 11th December 2024.  Please complete ONE FORM PER CHILD if you wish to order Christmas Lunch.

ORDERS MUST BE SUBMITTED by 3pm on Monday 2nd DECEMBER 2024 to allow our catering staff to order their supplies!

Please remember:

• Only the choices below will be available on 11th December.  There will be no cold choice/sandwiches/baked Potato.
• All children in P1 – P5 are entitled to a Free School  Meal
• In P6 and P7 – Parents/Carers must have applied to North Lanarkshire Council for Free School Meals, otherwise, they should ensure that £3.25 is available through online payments.
• As well as their main meal, children will also be given a drink, dessert and a sweet treat.

This Friday (22nd November) Woodlands Primary school is having both a STEM and Play and Stay and Play session for all of our Primary 6s and Primary 3s.

The P6 ‘STEM and Play’ session will take place from 1pm – 2pm in the STEM and in the  classrooms. These sessions give you a chance to see what your child is learning and to get involved, as well as to meet other parents/families. Parents and carers are welcome to attend. Parents and carers attending must enter through the front door and sign in via the QR code sign in sheet.

The P3 ‘Stay and Play’ session will take place from 2pm- 3pm in the Learning Zone and in the  classrooms. These sessions give you a chance to see what your child is learning and to get involved, as well as to meet other parents/families. Parents and carers are welcome to attend. Parents and carers attending must enter through the front door and sign in via the QR code sign in sheet. At the end of the session parents and carers can leave through the front door and collect their child as normal at their class door.
