Hello Parents and Carers.

We are members of the Woodlands Primary School Pupil Action Group.

Right now we are revising our school values and looking at the vision and aims of our school. So far the children in school have shared their views on what is important to them and what they would like their school to be like.

Next up we would like to get parents/carers to share their views and opinions to on shaping our ethos, our vision and values. At Parents Night on Thursday (23rd) we will have a stall and would like to invite parents to fill out either a paper form or a digital Microsoft form.

Please come and speak to us on Thursday and share your views to help us shape our school vision.

Red Band – Fish, Chips and peas

Green Band – Hot Dog

Blue Band – Sandwiches (chicken or cheese)

A reminder that you are invited to meet with your child’s teacher on Thursday 23^rd of March. Appointments will be offered between 3.15pm and 5.15pm and then 6.15pm and 8.00pm. Appointments for children attending the nursery will be available between 3 and 4pm.

If you have not returned your letter and wish for an appointment please contact the school.

Comic Relief 2023 will take place this Friday (17^th of March). We will be having a special assembly and children will participate in activities based on Children’s Rights. On Friday children are invited to wear their casual clothes.

Pancake Breakfast

You are invited to join us for our Fairtrade Pancake Breakfast on Friday 3^rd of March. Doors will open at 9.20am and the children will come along throughout the morning to sing a song and keep everyone entertained. Times for each year group are:

9.30am           Primary 7

9.50am           Primary 5

10.00am         Primary 4

10.10am         Primary 3

10.20am         Primary 2
