The Primary meal price will increase from £1.80 to £1.90

A reminder that the school will close at 2.30pm this Friday for the Spring Holiday. We will re-open at 9am on Monday 18th April.

For the safety of everyone can we please remind parents of all children NOT to park in the bus bays & on the main road outside of the school. School receiving lots of complaints from road users and a couple of near misses have been reported recently.

Thank you for your help in this matter.

To confirm, these are the session times for this Friday in Nursery:

Morning Session (as normal): 8.40am start, 11.50am finish

Afternoon Session: 11am start, 2.10pm finish

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy Easter. I hope the weather is kind to you all and you have fun spending time with your families and eating lots of chocolate! I look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday 29th March and hearing all about your holidays!

I would also like to take this opportunity to inform you that  Mr McCrorie has successfully been appointed as Depute Head Teacher at Heriot Primary in Renfrewshire and will sadly be leaving us at the end of this term, with his final day being next Friday, the 1st April.  Mr McCrorie has worked in Woodlands for nearly 11 years and our loss is certainly Heriot Primary’s gain. I am sure you will all join me in wishing him the very best for the future.

Well Done to everyone who took part!

A huge thank you to everyone who entered this year’s competition. A big thank you too to everyone who supported pupils in the creation of these wonderful designs. We were all really impressed by the creativeness and scale of this years designs and judging it will be a very difficult task for Mr McCrorie! Here are some pictures of today’s entries!

Davis Cup Trophy Tour – Glasgow

Friday 1st April – 10am-5pm in Buchanan Street, Glasgow.

Come down and get your picture taken with the Davis Cup. The trophy will be in Buchanan Street for most of the day and there will also be some mini tennis courts set up to play some tennis on.

No booking require just turn up.

The next Parent Council meeting will take place in school tonight at 6.30pm in the staff room. As part of the Parent Forum all parents are invited and encouraged to attend. We hope to see lots of you there!
