As well as reviewing the practice since the introduction of the Parental Involvement Act 2006, the revised strategy will draw on schools’ current and intended relationship with parents.

The recently published Education Scotland Act 2016 and the HGIOS4 both contain dedicated sections which emphasise the need for schools and parents to work effectively to enhance pupil progress and school improvement.

Busy Thursday Evening

Just a little reminder that there are a few events taking place tomorrow evening:

Parent Council AGM – will take place tomorrow in the school staffroom at 5.15pm. Everyone welcome to attend & it would be lovely to see some new faces 🙂

Kilbowie Information Evening – will take place tomorrow at 6pm. All Primary 7’s & their parents/carers are welcome to attend.

Parent Open Evening – will take place tomorrow 7-8pm. This is a great opportunity to come & see your child’s classroom & try out some class based activities. We hope to see lots of you there!
