Tomorrow is our Woodlands Eco day.  Can all children please remember to bring a waterproof jacket and warm clothes as they will be engaged in outdoor learning tasks.

The Hallowe’en Disco is on Thursday 27^th October  –

P1 – 3: 5.15 – 6.15pm (Including Art activities and dancing)

P3 – 7:  6:30 – 7:30pm (Disco)

*Primary 3 can select which disco to attend but can only attend one!

Parents/carers are requested to collect their children from the school gym hall at the end of the disco.

Tickets go on sale on Monday 24th October:  £1.50

No scary clown costumes please!!!!

Dear Parents and friends of Woodlands Primary School

We are really pleased to announce that we have a parent and toddler group starting in the school. Woodlands Tots is  for parents and children aged from birth to 3 years old.

For your information,

Groups will run:        Tuesday between    13:15 – 15:15

Friday between        09:30 – 11:30.

Our first sessions will begin on Tuesday 25^th October 13:15 – 15:15 and on Friday 28^th October 9:30 – 11:30

Please bring a £1 donation for snack and art supplies.

We like to keep the entrance free for everyone’s safety so enter through the main reception door and please leave large items including prams and buggies in the dining room on the left when you arrive.

We like to ensure that every group member feels relaxed, supported, safe and secure, and that they have fun while we are here. For this reason we have a maximum number limit of 15 adults and children.

This morning we had an amazing start to the week!

We started off with a quiz about gross animals! The children made excellent guesses when they didn’t know the answer and they also had some great background knowledge about the blobfish!
