As a school, we are continually trying to support parents in managing the treatment of head lice. Below is a link to the most up to date information from NHS. As always, we would encourage all parents to check their child’s hair regularly and should you have any queries then please contact the school.

NHS Head Lice Information

Today we had our annual Woodlands Got Talent celebration.  Twelve acts went head to head to see who could score the highest and win points for their school house!  We had singing, dancing, jokes, live music and even two tiny ninjas from Primary 1!

After much discussion and counting and recounting of the exceptionally high scores. We were able to announce the acts that finished in the top 3 places.

A massive well done to last week’s and this week’s Star Pupils.

This week we also had our first class assembly.  Primary 4 showed their Scottish spirit, capturing the essence of Robert Burns.  They put on a fantastic show, detailing the life of Robert Burns complete with plenty of singing and Scottish dancing.  Well done Primary 4!
