Pupil Choice Clubs and Activities

Pupil Engagement

Active engagement in a wide range of learning experiences helps children develop not only their abilities but also the social skills that allow them to thrive in school and beyond. When pupils take part in enjoyable, hands‑on activities, they build confidence, resilience, teamwork, and communication; all of which support healthy relationships and positive wellbeing. Participation also allows children to discover new interests, practise problem‑solving, and learn how to collaborate effectively with others. By creating opportunities for pupils to be active, creative, and involved, we help them grow into capable, confident learners who enjoy school life.

Pupil Choice Clubs

All pupils in our school take part in a Pupil Choice Club, giving them the opportunity to explore an area of interest and work alongside children from other classes.

Younger pupils in P1–3 can choose from clubs such as Yoga, Calming Crafts, Games, ICT/Coding, PE, and Art & Craft, all designed to promote creativity, movement, and early social skill development.

Older pupils in P4–7 can select from a wider range of interest‑based clubs, including Lego, Chess/Games, Art, Choir, Table Tennis/Archery, Cookery, and Art & Crafts. These clubs help build confidence, nurture talents, and encourage positive relationships, ensuring every child has a voice in shaping their learning experiences.
