Kid Power

The Kid Power project that Primary 5/6 and Primary 6/7 have been taking part in has finished today.

During the four weeks that this project has been running children in these classes have learned all about malnutrition across a number of countries in the world. They have learned about the important role they can play as global citizens and at the same time have developed an awareness of their own health and well being and how they can improve their fitness.

Children (and staff!) have loved being a part of this pilot project and have made positive changes that will continue past the end of the project. Listed below are the final details for both classes. From these results you will see that the children have done exceptionally well and I am really impressed with their efforts. Watch this space for news on how we plan to continue this project across the rest of the school!
