Well done to Carmen who was our dojo champion this week. She worked really hard to score 19 points!

Malaika was our Successful Learner this week for writing a super information report about plants. Well done Malaika.

We have had another busy week in Primary 1 and have learned lots of new things.

“I have learned about the phoneme ‘oy’ and I know that toy has my new phoneme in it” – Leah.

“I have enjoyed reading my new book called Matt’s Good Idea” – Marcus.

“I have learned how to spell our, off and down” – Olivia.

“I have learned that plants need water, sunlight, air and soil to grow” – Alfie.

Today we were lucky enough to have our parents in to visit our classroom. We were learning all about how to look after ourselves.

“I learned that bananas are a healthy food and they are good for me” – Logan.

“I learned that we need to brush our hair and our teeth and wash our face to keep ourselves clean” – Kayla.
