Our Friday Blog

Another busy week has come to an end. This week we have worked very hard to make lots of decorations to sell at the Christmas Fayre tomorrow. We hope you can come along to buy some of our wonderful products.

As well as preparing lots of decorations we have learned lots too!

“I have learned how to use finger spaces in my writing” – Millie.

“I have learned how to spell ‘just’ this week” – Sophia.

“I now know what a 2 pence and 5 pence coin looks like” – Aaron.

“I have worked hard to make sure my number 3 is facing the right way” – Oliver.

“I have learned how to put the main events of my story back in the right order” – Kayla.

Well done to Harvey who was our dojo champion this week. Kayla was our confident individual for giving a confident performance during our Nativity rehearsal.

Data Handling

We have been learning all about Carroll diagrams and pictograms. We decided to find out what was the most popular fruit in our class. We displayed our results in a pictogram. Have a look at what we had to do to make our pictogram.

Word Hunting

We were very busy this morning using our special magnifying glasses to hunt for words in our reading books. We managed to find lots of two and three letter words and also some words which have  our new sound ‘b’ in them.
