On Wednesday when the storms hit Kilbowie, we were the first group to have the activities cancelled in 6 years. Instead, we stayed safe and warm inside and had a onesie morning.

Friday morning
That’s us all packed up and ready to go! We’ve made our lunches, reunited lost socks with their owners and tidied up our rooms.
The weather here is very calm and settled, so our journey home should be fine.
Mr. Clark will call the school just as we get to Stirling. See you all soon.
Thursday night at Kilbowie
We had a lovely meal of either Vegetable Quiche or Fish and chips tonight. The dessert was Arctic roll and fruit.
After a bumper tuck spend – tonight was the night the children could spend their left over money on the souvenirs – it was time to get ready for the disco. (Every child has spent all of their £8)
The girls and boys were dressed in their finest and danced the night away. It was lovely to see all of the Aitkenhead, Holy Cross and Tannochside pupils get on so well. Some good friendships have been formed at Kilbowie this year.
Afterwards, it was a supper of filled rolls and now everyone is off to bed. We’ve had a brilliant week and the teachers are delighted to say the behaviour and attitude of every child has been exemplary.
Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.
A wee weather update from Kilbowie…
Thursday afternoon
Good news – the weather has improved enough for the children to head our for afternoon activities. Some are enjoying the safari, others are headed to the water or to ski. Despite the weather, we’ve still managed to achieve a lot today.
Everyone’s really excited for the disco tonight and then our week is almost over. I think some of the children would like to stay longer though!
