Thanks to everyone who came to our Easter Service this morning.
After the service some of the Parent Council members took on the role of the Easter Bunny. Every year the Parent Council provide a sweet treat for the children at Easter time and this year with thanks to Tesco for helping, the children all got an easter egg.
Here are some of the pupils with their easter egg and some members of the parent council
A reminder that school closes at 2.30pm tomorrow. The nursery doors will also open at 2.30pm tomorrow to allow any parent who wishes to collect their child early.
Well done to our fantastic Primary 1 pupils and their teachers. They put on a wonderful show for their parents on Wednesday afternoon. The boys and girls also played games with their parents and sold old fashioned style sweets.
Thanks to the P7 helpers who did a great job too.
Check out the photos below.
Team Tannochside!
Mrs Fleck, Miss Brogan, Mrs Smith, Mrs Kelso and Mrs Nicol have all signed up to participate in this year’s Kilt walk. They are raising money for Kilt Walk and also for our school funds.
If you would like to help them raise money you can click on the link below and it will take you to their money giving page.
Thanks

GO TEAM TANNOCHSIDE – 13 miles still to go!
Kilt Walk is on Sunday 12th April.
This morning the pupils went outside to watch the solar eclipse. Although it was cloudy we did manage to see the eclipse briefly. See some of the photos below.
Today the pupils of Tannochside Primary School were given a special treat for working hard and keeping the Golden Rules. All children who have 12 weeks or more of full Golden Time enjoyed a movie and some ice cream today at school.
Thanks to Craven at Equis for coming in again this year to give out the ice cream. It was delicious!
The Primary 7s have arrived home from Kilbowie. They have had a fantastic time although I think they will need all weekend to recover to be ready for school on Monday.
Well done to all the pupils and their families for helping us raise £740 for Comic Relief. A fantastic amount.
The school had a dressed down day and collected £654.
The Nursery pupils all dressed up, including the staff! They had their face painted and had a great time raising £86.
Thanks to P2b and Mrs McDonald for selling the red noses this week.
Just a reminder that Tannochside will be participating in Red Nose Day on Friday 13th March.
It will be a Dress Down Day on Friday and we would appreciate a donation of £1 to go to Comic Relief.
The Nursery are going to have a Dress Up Day on Friday rather than a dress down! Again £1 donation would be greatly appreciated for Comic Relief.
Mrs McDonald and Primary 2b are also selling red noses this week at school for anyone who wishes to buy one.
Well done to Erin Blevins, Lara Cheeseman, Olivia Clark and Erin Gilbert.
The girls took part in a reading competition today at Bellshill Cultural Centre and came 2nd. They will now be in the final.
The girls had to read two books, Harry Potter and War Horse before the competition. Although not all the questions were about these two books.
Thanks to Miss Kerr and Mrs Fleck who have been working with the all the pupils who put themselves forward to take part and accompanying our fantastic team this morning.
