Remembrance poems

In primary 7 we have been learning about World War 2 and we wrote some poems.  Here is mine:

In my garden poppies grow,
Beneath the soil row in row.
All the people back then,
They lay dead again and again.
Remembrance day will soon pass by,
For all those people who risked.
Their lives and die I think to myself
Why do I cry I’m thinking about them;
Back then poppies blow
In Flanders fields.
