Registration of Infant Beginners
A new system for Registration of Infant Beginners has been put in place to support the Council’s ongoing response to COVID-19. A new online registration form has been created and guidelines are below.
A deadline of 22nd January 2021 has been set for the return of all completed forms and supporting evidence.
Children who attain the age of 5 years between 1st March 2021 and 28th February 2022 should register for starting Primary 1 in August 2021.
Enrolment and Placing Request forms are now available for parents/carers to complete online and email to individual schools.
Completed enrolment forms, with accompanying evidence should be sent directly to enquiries@tannochside.n-lanark.sch.uk
Each child’s birth certificate and proof of address in the form of the current council tax bill/utility bill must be produced.
Supporting evidence can be scanned or a screen shot sent of your child’s birth certificate and your Council Tax / utility bill.
Paper applications will be accepted where parents/carers do not have access to I.C.T. All paperwork, should be returned in a sealed envelope to the school, (only copies of the supporting paperwork should be provided). The envelope should be dated and marked clearly with your child’s name and the words ‘P1 Enrolment 2021/2022’. Paper copies submitted by parents/carers will be quarantined for 72 hours.
