Accessing online resources

Some of your teachers may be posting links to online lessons and video clips that require you to set up a free access account.

All you have to do is open your Glow launchpad and using App Library, search for West OS. When you see the tile, add it to your launchpad for use in the future.

Click on the tile and set up a free access account using your Glow email and this will allow you to access all the resources available in many different subjects.

BE THE LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS – HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL DAY

27th January marks Holocaust Memorial Day

The Holocaust Memorial Day Trust (HMDT) encourages remembrance in a world scarred by genocide (mass murder of a particular group of people). They promote and support Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD) – the international day on 27 January to remember the six million Jews murdered during the Holocaust, alongside the millions of other people killed under Nazi Persecution and in genocides that followed in CambodiaRwandaBosnia and Darfur.

The theme for Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD) 2021 is Be the light in the darkness. It encourages everyone to reflect on the depths humanity can sink to, but also the ways individuals and communities resisted that darkness to ‘be the light’ before, during and after genocide.
