Work for 15.1.21

Work has been posted for 4.4, 4.5 and 4.6 RE. This looks at the Annunciation.

1.4, 1.5 and 1.6 should be finishing off their Epiphany Newspaper reports and submitting these on Teams. There is also a revision quiz on Teams for the Epiphany.

Work has been posted for 2.5, 2.6 and 2.7 on the subject of vocations.

Saint of the Day

Today’s Saint is a catch up. His feast is on the 13th of January but we didn’t want to miss out St Mungo, the patron saint of Glasgow.

Saint Mungo

Saint Mungo is the Patron Saint of Glasgow and is also known as Kentigern. He is believed to have been born and brought up in Culross in Fife. Mungo is believed to have begunhis Christian Ministry at aged 25 around the year 540. Mungo established himself  in Glasgow living a simple life beside a tributary known as the Molendinar and Mungo set up his Church which is the site of Glasgow Cathedral. Glasgow Cathedral is also the burial place for Saint Mungo.
