Primary 7 were pleased and proud to welcome Bishop Toal to our school for a visit ahead of our Confirmation in December. We presented the research we had done about our chosen Saints’ names, performed a short play about the story of the Good Samaritan, and learned more about the symbols and items used in the Confirmation Mass.

We spent some time on Tuesday working out the odds and chances of winning, scoring and carding scenarios before Scotland’s big match! Then on Wednesday, we listened back to some of the commentary from Tuesday night. We identified onomatopoeia, metaphors, alliteration, similes, and emotive adjectives and adverbs, then rewrote some commentaries of our own. We created iMovies with voice recordings of our commentary, and linked the videos to a qr code for others to listen and enjoy!
Room 13 were exploring and experimenting with loose parts.

Room 13 gave a huge amount of support to our infant and junior classes this week. Thanks to them, all of our pupils became more confident in logging into Glow, accessing Teams, and reading and responding to surveys. The staff were also able to collect a lot of data to support our Health and Wellbeing work, and our Rights Respecting Schools journey.
