Pupils from our class took part in a social subjects quiz as part of their transition to St Andrews High School. It was a real team effort and they clocked up a score 230 points!!! They were rewarded with a fabulous trophy and a medal each. Well done to our social subject stars!
primary 7 helped primary 1 read a book and place it in Dumbeth park for someone to take and read and had a sneaky play.
Room 12 and Room 13 visited Coatbridge Library and were introduced to author, Abi Elphinstone. She discussed where she gets her inspiration from and showed us the variety of children’s books she has written. It was, in the words of our classmates, entertaining, inspiring, interactive and funny. Abi’s new novel titled “Ember Spark, Vet to Magical Beasts”.
